25 Mill Street North Waterdown Interior Alterations
Project Overview
Originally built in 1857 as the East Flamborough Township Hall and later serving as the Waterdown Public Library, the building was purchased in 2016 and underwent a six-month restoration. Now transformed into 4,500 sq. ft. of private office space, the project blends heritage preservation with modern functionality. The design highlights accessibility, energy efficiency, and architectural features that honour the original character while meeting today’s standards.
- Fully accessible with ramps, power doors, elevator, and barrier-free washrooms
- Heritage details restored, including barrel ceiling, stonework, and oak doors
- Modern systems, energy-efficient envelope, and elegant lighting integrated seamlessly
