Dundas Valley School of Art Renovations

Project Overview

This 18,000 sq. ft. renovation modernized a historically significant 1800s building in downtown Dundas. Completed in phases, the project balanced heritage preservation with full system upgrades, transforming the facility into a vibrant community hub with galleries, studios, classrooms, and public spaces. 

  • Construction: Phased renovation of a heritage building 
  • Key Upgrades: Complete mechanical, electrical, and sprinkler replacements; building envelope renewal with new windows, EIFS façade, roof, and insulation 
  • Interior Features: Restored wood floors, new millwork and finishes, updated classrooms, studios, galleries, and community spaces
