Project Overview
This project was a product offering expansion using existing warehouse floor space that is key to the continued success and growth of the client’s business. Includes the installation of one new Processing Line and Packaging Line complete with wash-bays, warehouse space, and tempering room capabilities. The significant building infrastructure renovations to accommodate the new equipment installations required:
- Site management in an operational food production facility, planning, scheduling, coordination, site safety management, hording, relocation scope, demolition and all required materials, equipment and tools.
- Procurement and purchase of long lead items including IMP panels, HVAC units, transformers, warehouse racks etc. IMC is responsible for coordinating the pre-bid packages and the receipt of and installation of such equipment to ensure delivery can meet the proposed project schedule.
- Below grade drainage infrastructure requiring significant saw cutting of existing flooring
- Structural reinforcement of the existing roof structure to accommodate roof mounted HVAC equipment.
- Interior renovations to accommodate processing equipment room requirements.
- Mechanical and electrical infrastructure to support the installation of production and packaging equipment.
- Upgrades to the Sprinkler System to accommodate the production requirements.
- Coordination of receiving, rigging and installation of all equipment.
